I stupidly went for one of experian's pre approvals back when I was starting to rebuild I think 6-7 months ago and got a Mission lane card with a crappy 39 AF and a 300 CL.
saw that it would grow so figured Id keep it for a year and see what happens.
have kept it mostly zero'ed out except for one or two statements. The increased me to 800 from 300 so that's a 500 CLI! I was kind of expecting it to go to 2000 or 3000 TBH based on my income and past/current CLs even in rebuild stage.
I was in the low 600s when approved and now in the mid to high 600s across the board. student loan lates from right before the pandemic are holding my score down. :-(
guess it's a step. will close if it doesn't grow more in the next 6 months. don't wanna waste $39!
