My OCD remains undefeated. In mid-December, I was approved for the AMEX BCP with a starting limit of $31,300. The SL was great but did not sit well with my OCD. Like the wise members of this board suggested, I waited 91+ days to ask for a CLI. I asked for and received 35k as a new limit. For data points, I am averaging about $1,500 monthly spend on the card with and income around 150k.
The second CLI was for my 2+ y/o VentureX. Its limit was sitting at 28,500, but like my BCP, my OCD did not like the amount. I received an immediate approval to $30,000. My OCD is happy for now with 2 cards at nice round numbers.
Thanks to all board members for your excellent information on credit cards and credit in general.

LOL! You must be my long lost twin or something because I am the same way with credit limits. I cannot stand odd credit limits. Funnily enough I'm the same way when I see odd speed limits like 12 mph - drives me nuts 🤣
Nicely done, congratulations!
Congrats on the increases!
Congratulations way to go enjoy it now you can sleep well.
it's not just OCD, but I think in general nice whole numbers should be better. Unless that person is already a bit of a stretch (max limit) etc.. I could see why they used non-whole numbers. They should add the 99 at the end to signify that you're at your limit like 9999 or 5799. So you know u can't ask for more CLI.
Congratulations on your CLI!!
Double congrats !
