I would like to send some GW letters out to companies that were paid in full and closed but had late payments in the past. I have long since forgotten these accounts and no loger have the account numbers, but now that I have started to pay attention to my CR I would like to clean these up. My question is, how do I find out what an old account number is so I can send a GW letter or is there no hope?
You really don't need the entire 16-digit account number. Using the abbreviated account number from TC, for example, is sufficient for them to locate your account.
