78 point jump in my experian fico 8 to a new all time high of 752. Woo Hoo!!!
account was a collection from ar resources
$1098 from a 2019 ER visit.
Employers insurance picked up the bill.
At time of discharge the hospital said I owed nothing and I never received a bill from anyone.... done and over with.
Then the BS started..
8 months into rebuilding my credit a collection for ar resources showed up on tu and exp reports
Tanked my scores: 680s down to 600
Disputed multiple times:
"This debt is not mine". No dice
"covered by insurance" sorry, stays on report
"paid in full with OC". Nope
" Too old to report". Can't help ya
I called in a phone dispute. That was 2 hours of my life I'll never get back.
decided to try one more time before trying a PFD.
disputed online Friday night
I chose OTHER for the reason for dispute
squeezed the backstory and plea for mercy into the 210 characters they allow for comments
and bam just got an email from Experian that results were ready, so I hit up annual creditreport.com for a look-see and it's gone
New fico8, or as far as I'm concerned, my correct fico8 seeing as how this wasn't my debt to begin with:

now just waiting for Transunion to follow suit

Before I filed bankruptcy a couple years ago and started my credit rebuilding process, I used to dispute a lot with Experian. I found that they were the easiest ones to get things removed off of my credit for me oddly enough lol. Equifax was a nightmare and a story for another day 🤣
Transunion also deleted the account.

Had they sent me any bill at all I would have paid it and submitted it to the insurance company for reimbursement.
