My FICO scores: 625 (EQ, EX), 620 (TU).
I had a car repo in 2/2002 and declared bankruptcy in 2/2003. I live in NYC.
Interested in getting an idea of:
* APrs for financing, comparable APRs for leasing
* min I need to put down (as a percentage)
* max # of months
* best co's to finance with (I am flexible about make/model)
* best time of year to buy

I tried to get a passbooks loan (5%^ APR, 90% of passbook balance), but the max repayment was 36 months, which would have made my monthly payment too high. FYI I do NOT want to use all of my passbook savings to buy a car!
