It's always worse than what they admit to. This is why I suggest caution before just supplying 4506C info. There is too much risk on the consumer side with very little accountability and security on the banks side. I've personally spent two years cleaning up Equifax and Experian data breach mess

Spoke to colleagues wife who let's say is very familiar with the breach details and from the sounds of it, I'm afraid it's way more serious than being presented.

Some recommendations 

-Change Amex account passwords 

- Monitor accounts closely 

Not everyone affected was notified and that's not being reported intentionally
