That's great to hear about the pre-qualified mailer. We're heavy Costco users so this offer doesn't really tempt me but I think it's pretty decent for the 1st year membership fee.

First year discount on membership isn't all that tempting, if they offered a decent ongoing discount, I'd actually consider it.

You're right. I didn't blink much since we don't use BJ's in my household but an ongoing discount would tempt my DW perhaps. Our closest BJ's happens to be near Costco so I know DW would think over the right discount if it appeared.
