No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
WooHoo!! Congratulations on your Approval!!👏🏼🍾🥂
Thank you, it is not a credit card it is a Line of Credit.
Just a side DP as well. FHB can pull from any of the 3 bureaus upon request, but they usually use TU or EQ first. I recently opened a Priority Destinations WEMC card with them, and requested that they pull Experian. Seems like whoever processed the application screwed up and only did a SP of my Experian report, but instantly approved me for 15K. Card arrived Friday.
You can apply for any of their cards if you live on the mainland via phone, or in branch if you are on the islands at any point, no matter your address. You cannot however apply for the FHB United card, as that's limited to Guam and Northern Mariana Islands.
I always found it strange that FHB is the only actual issuer in Hawaii besides credit unions. BoH, ASB, and CPB all use third party issuers (Barclays and Elan).
Congratulations on your Cc approval with FHB. I agree FHB is the only local bank that mainlanders can apply either to calling or online. ASB and BOH are also banks that offer banking. ASB Cc's are offered by Elan and BOH thru Barclay's like you mentioned. I bank with all three and they offer excellent services.
Wait, is this the 3% cash back card?
@ptatohed Not sure what you're referring to.

Yeah, there is a Hawaiian CU (sorry, forget the name) that has a 3% CB card but they are very geo-restricted. Let me know if you want me to search the name. We talked about it in another thread not too long ago.

You're thinking of Hawaii State FCU, and it's a 2.5% CB card, not 3%.
