but I will say that when I have recon'ed with Chase they ALWAYS tell me that they do not consider store cards in your total available credit and for utilization. so I think their proprietary score reflects higher util for many folks applying.

Congrats. I've the past few years I've applied for a couple Chase CC's and been denied each time. I've never had any other accounts with them in the past. Hell I was even able to get into AMEX before Chase. They play hard apparently. I even tried their new Chase Rise and denied.
