Approved for Citi Diamond preferred $3900 SL and Capital One Savor one $1k SL. Citi sent mailed prescreen with code to use, Cap1 I used prequalify on the site. Citi hard pulled just EQ and Cap1 HP all three, in NJ, no previous business with either. I have CFU, WF, BoA, Disco, Amex and some sub primes already that I'm trying to pay off/cancel. AAoA is 7 years.
I have high utilization, 65% at time of application, now down to 55% (14k/26k) because of increased limit, currently trying to find BT cards or credit unions but will likely not be able to get more soon because of recent inquiries/new accounts. New accounts in last 24 month including Citi and Cap1 - 4/24, will drop to 3/24 next month, at time of application for Citi using EQ would have shown no inquiries past 24, Cap1 would have seen the one from Citi and 2 others from TU over 12 months old.
I think Cap1 either gave low SL because of too recent Citi app or they just don't trust me...
