Oh Hello Kenny! I'm a day late and a dollar short. That's all I got, besides some credit...nothing to write home about. Hope all you Challengers have a wonderful April and see some gains and hit some goals. Good Night!
My scores slipped a little this month. I'm actually slightly better off, but the way the algorithms work, I took a slight hit. I have three cards that are still in the 0% interest introductory period. I've just paid minimum payments on them and paid off all the cards that are charging interest. So Utilization is a bit high on those three - 48%, 27%, and 40%. The timing of my recent 3B report caught me with high utilization on those three before I had actually paid off the others, so it looked worse there than it will in a few days.
When I got my 3B report, I had all three CRAs frozen. TU and Ex still came through on the report, but Eq did not. I got a notice that the Eq was frozen. I thawed it temporarily within minutes, but it would not update the report without paying for another one. So it's a 2B report this month.
March was a month of maintaining course rather than applying for any form of credit. As I had mentioned last month, I will be refinancing my mortgage in May to get out from under my FHA. The PMI is more than the higher interest, so its not an issue. So I will be remaining in the garden until then. My Current Utilization has gone to ~5% now that the new NFCU credit line was added to my report. I am now 6 months away from my BK from 2012 from falling off my report, and I am looking forward to the score bump.
Hi all, great news I finally have a score woohoo
Now all I can do is wait. I have done all I can and now time is my friend.
Last month was a flurry of credit activity. I finally addressed my high CC debt. I applied for and was approved for debt consolidation loan with penfed. Also I applied for a auto refinance loan for a cheaper rate. I applied and was approved for a personal line of credit. I am feeling much better about addressing my credit card debts/fees!
Congratulations on the new score!!! Can't wait to see my score reach that number
