We actually already have a buyer lined up. We've just had such an incredibly rough few years that we're super anxious and want to be sure we have our next moves lined out and are completely comfortable with them before we take the leap. Another thing to find out would be how much would getting an auto loan (and the inquiry) and paying it off in two months help your credit.

I was under the assumption that long periods of paying on time is what helps your credit score, but there are far more knowledgable people than me that could chime in.
